If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.

We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

Pushed by Pettigrew, Professor Jim Edwards steers his car towards Chiselbury School for the start of another term. Antony Blair identifies the spot as facing southward towards Old Mill Lane near Little Britain Lake in Cowley, Middlesex alongside the Frays River in the foreground and the River Colne, forming the border with Buckinghamshire, in the background

Antony provides this capture of the previously unidentified location now.

Three coaches carry rowdy boys towards the school gates. Facing north on Aldenham Road outside Aldenham Lodge at the entrance to the drive leading to Aldenham House, now the Haberdashers' Aske's School, in Elstree, Hertfordshire.

A green, leafy scene by Antony Blair.

The line of coaches turns onto the driveway of Chiselbury School . . . for the Sons of Gentlefolk. The gates stand adjacent to Aldenham Lodge on Aldenham Road, opposite Dagger Lane, and can also seen in 'Quatermass 2', 'Kill or Cure', 'Dangerous Davies: The Last Detective' and 'It's in the Air'.

Antony Blair found no entry through the gates today.
