The film opens at Paestum, south of Naples.

A tour hears about the delights of the temple of Ceres/Demeter.

Tours are discouraged by an enclosing fence to enter within the temples. SJ

The tour group moves away to explore the rest of the classical site.

They move towards the temple of Neptune/Poseidon or Apollo, shrouded in scaffolding. This temple was also seen in Clash of the Titans (81), Goodbye Mr Chips (69), Isadora and the one behind (out of shot: temple of Juno/Hera) Jason and the Argonauts.

Not sure how I missed this the previous year. Amends now. SJ

Maglietta tries to hail her departing tour bus outside Rome, southeast on the A1/E821. A sign called Autogrill is evident but it's now called Chef Express Frascati, and yes it is on the way from Paestum to Rome.

After Rosalba arrives in Venice, she walks from Piazzale Roma down some steps along the Rio Terà Sant'Andrea...This and the following captures, with the added bonus of identified locations, to complete the film are provided by Alan Forshaw.

Rosalba returns to Fernando's with flowers after obtaining a job at the florist's in the Campo de l'Anzolo Rafael near the church of Saint Sebastian.

Constantino leaves home headed for Venice to look for Rosalba in a housing complex in the Mestre off Via Aldo Camporese.

The boat "hotel" hired by Constantino. This is next to the Ponte Fondamenta di Santa Giustina close to the lagoon entrance between Ospedale and Celestia ferry wharfs.

AF found a quiet moment here.

Constantino has a cigarette resting on canal steps of the Ponte de la Corte Nova on the Rio de Santa Antonin.

The building where Fernando's grandson and his mother live on the Calle delle Case Nuove near Santa Marta ferry wharf.

AF was presented with a lot of yellow.

Dancing outside the florist shop, final scene in the film. Ponte Santo Maria Nuova, the rear wall of the church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli is on the right hand side of the frame. The florist shop is just a house with a fake front put there for the film.
