Ryan Cohen, a young police constable fresh out of Hendon, is recruited by DCI Guy Sabo of Special Operations to work undercover infiltrating a gang led by the mysterious ‘Monopoly Man’.

Guy Sabo (Max Day) watches Cohen as he heads back to the houses on the north side.

Islingword Road has a small offshoot here, and we are looking from this stub to the main route.

He follows and accosts the young PC. Islingword Road again.

Further down than the earlier shots. Grant Street is just visible on the left.

Sabo shows Cohen a police ID and introduces himself as a member of the Special Operations branch, SO10. Cobden Road, view towards Elm Grove.

Later, at a pub, Sabo offers Ryan an undercover role as part of a team on the track of a gang led by the mysterious 'Monopoly Man'. Brighton Marina, outside the Master Mariner.

Digesting the information, Ryan/Max walks down Providence Place towards St Bartholomew's Church.

Max has met contacts from the gang at a pub. Simmons (Nicholas Moon) walks ahead as they take him to their car.

Max is wary of the car ride, but Simmonds and Edwards (Stephen Forrest) insist.

The gang have been stitched up by a fence. Max poses as a courier delivering a parcel to gain access to his heavily secured flat.

Sabo phones Max to arrange a meeting. The old Fruit & Veg market in Circus Street, looking roughly north towards Morley Street.

Max and Ian (Reuben Liburd) are out to steal a vehicle for the bank job.

The following day, Max finds that Lisa has been murdered.

As Caul walks along Ewart Street, the camera lurks at the corner of Grant Street and Jackson Street, watching him.

We follow him as he heads down Jackson Street.

Max disappears left into Lincoln Street.

We catch up and follow him down Lincoln Street towards Southover Street.

He turns left again and heads into Lincoln Cottages.

After again dealing with the fence who has repeatedly caused them trouble, the gang leave a premises on the seafront.

A difficult one to place exactly, but this is Kings Road, Brighton, looking East towards the Royal Albion Hotel. This shot, just east of Middle Street, seems to put the street lights in all the right places.

Max wants to pull out of the undercover operation -- but then Simmons arrives to tell him that the bank job has been brought forward and they are going immediately. Sea View Way, Woodingdean.

The extra greenery on the right helped in some degree to counter the low sun.

The Sunblest and Jaycee factories occupied this site until 2002, and had been derelict for some years before they were replaced by the Woodingdean Business Park.
