Bring Me the Head of Mavis Davis

After a bad awards night, Marty Starr (Rik Mayall) is about to leave his (currently unidentified) property.

After being attacked, Marty walks along Mill Street, London SE1 2BZ to his office.

Looking north-east with Jacob Street running off to the right and St. Saviour's Wharf clad in scaffolding on the left. SJ

Having to rush to a lunch meet, Marty dashes from Haymarket onto Jermyn Street, London SW1Y 4SE . . .

Work being done on the left, almost inevitably. SJ

. . . and then through Piccadilly Circus. Just behind the Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain is Regent Street. Famously in 1981 this area was featured in the climax of 'American Werewolf in London'.

This is not such a common angle of this popular location. SJ

He gets a taxi back from lunch which drives along a currently unidentified London road.

Feeling down, Marty watches the London nightlife from his office. First is looking down Frith Street, London W1 from the crossroads with Old Compton Street.

Marty then gets taken for a ride by some heavy representatives. They drive along Ockwells Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire . . . Here looking southwest. (RL)

Antony Blair also turned . . . to find the gates closed.

Marty sneaks into Mavis's (Jane Horrocks) house, which is currently unidentified.

The next day there is a police presence at Mavis's home, as Marty discovers. The road behind Rik is currently unidentified.

Mavis/Marla gets out of the car at the first concert venue of her new tour. In the film this scene is set in Manchester, but in reality this is the O2 Academy Brixton, 211 Stockwell Rd, London SW9 9SL.

He then arranges to meet Cynthia (Jaclyn Mendoza) at Tower Bridge in the centre of London.

Mr Rathbone (Danny Aiello) instructs his goons to give Marty a kicking on Tower Bridge.

Marla's tour continues, this time she exits the venue at a currently unidentified location.

Marty goes looking for some drugs at a sleazy looking location. Simon James reckons this could be Culvert Place SW11 which is confirmed by Phil Wilkinson. The location features in numerous productions including 'A Fish Called Wanda', 'Night Ferry', 'This Is My Street' and 'Villain'.

He gets out of the car further along this unidentified area . . . Culvert Place in Battersea thinks Simon James who adds "There used to be similar corrugated iron on the right in Culvert Place which has since been cleared with railings appearing in front of the units to the left."

Not realising who he's meeting within the tunnel, Marty is about to get arrested. Simon James believes that this is the tunnel on Culvert Road seen from the corner of Culvert Place which is confirmed by Phil Wilkinson.

And a very narrow tunnel it is too. SJ

Marty comes out of the magristrates court to get harrassed by the press. This location is currently unidentified.

Marla will be concluding her tour at the London Eventim Apollo, Queen Caroline Street, Hammersmith W6 9QH.

Marty is having a crisis of concious and talks it over with Gary Belter (Ricky Grover) at what is suggested as the rear of the Apollo theatre, but doesn't seem to match the real back area, so this location remains currently unidentified.
