Panning right. Suffolk on the van won't fool us. Hambleden's church, St Mary the Virgin, may have enjoyed its first brush with the movies in 'The Captive Heart' from 1946 and has since appeared in many other productions including 'Murder is Easy', 'A Month in the Country', 'Nanny McPhee Returns', 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang', 'Into the Woods', 'Candleshoe', 'Rollin' with the Nines', ‘The Avengers’, ‘101 Dalmatians’, 'Child's Play', ‘The Legacy’, ‘Death on the Nile’, 'The Christmas Tree', ‘Another Country’, ‘The Witches’, ‘The Black Cat’, ‘The Blue Geranium’ and ‘Hampstead’.

The butcher's seen in both 'The Witches' as well as 'The Legacy' and passed by in 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang', 'Dance with a Stranger' and '101 Dalmatians' also glimpsed in 'The Black Cat' and 'The Avengers'. SJ
