Impersonating a manservant, Rodney Playfair (Richard Hearne) watches as a Policeman asks Tom who the old boy cleaning the steps is. Almost all of the action takes place at National Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

Venturing from the studio, a scene is filmed at a railway station for Leo Carrington to catch the 10.5 am train from Euston. The clock is by JNo. (John) Walker of 68 Cornhill & 230 Regent Street, a make used by the L.&N.W.R.
