Can You Keep It Up for a Week?

Removed from his managerial position following an embarrassing incident, Gil Masters (Jeremy Bulloch) is trained in car repairs by the company Mechanic (Valerie Phillips). The garage stands on the south side of Talgarth Road in W6, opposite the start of the eastern approach ramp of Hammersmith Flyover.

As with the rest of this location, this is a rough approximation here with the garage site now occupied by M&S and BP. SJ

Pulling in at the garage for fuel, a Motorist (Frances Bennett) asks for four gallons as Gil struggles with the petrol pump. The south side of Talgarth Road in Hammersmith.

A Streaker (Eddie Sommer) runs through the forecourt. A garage has traded on the site since the late 1950s when it stood at the corner of Wilson's Road and Lurgan Street.

Maybe not quite the same spot but I feel that we're looking south to the rear of houses of Margravine Gardens. SJ

Gil tells the Streaker that he can't run through here. The garage on the south side of Talgarth Road W6. The background car park is now the site of the London Hammersmith Premier Inn.

An MGB GT enters the car wash. A garage currently named Flyover Connect, complete with a car wash and air pumps, still stands on the same site to the south of the eastern ramp of Hammersmith Flyover.

Moved on from the petrol pumps, Gil has trouble with an air hose but stops what he's doing when the Driver of the sports car calls out. The garage on on the south side of Talgarth Road with the start of Hammersmith Flyover and the Novotel at the corner of Shortlands in the background.

When the MGB's engine won't start after the car is washed, Gil helps the Driver (Sally Harrison) to open the bonnet. Looking eastward along Talgarth Road in Hammersmith W6.

Fired from the garage and failing a management training scheme, Gil cleans his shoes on his trousers before entering the offices of "At Your Service", the agency where his fiancée Annette works as a secretary. The London Marriott Hotel Regent's Park at 128 King Henry's Road NW3. (SJ)

Inside the offices, Gil is given a job by Gloria Grimwood as he waits for Annette. This is the London Marriott Hotel Regent's Park, seen as a Holiday Inn in 'Mr. Jolly Lives Next Door' and 'A Question of Identity'. (SJ)

The next morning, Gerry Grimwood (Neil Hallett) heads to the office after his Wife sets off for Paris to recruit French Maids. Looking east on the curve of King Henry's Road.

Unloading his car, Mr. Hobson (Mark Singleton) returns home from a game of golf. This may well be another part of the old Holiday Inn, but since its refurbishment it's hard to tell. (SJ)

Mr. Hobson enters the building where he finds Gil in a compromising position with his Wife after she gets her toe stuck in the bath tap. The London Marriott Hotel Regents Park in NW3.

Annette (Jill Damas) decides to see how Gil is getting on whilst on a baby-sitting job.

Hearing giggles coming from inside the house, Annette tries the back door.

When Annette asks Mr. Grimwood to fire Gil, he invites her to his place in the country. High Canons on Buckettsland Lane at Well End in Hertfordshire.
