Summoned by his old army friend, Captain Kronos and his assistant Professor Grost travel through the countryside. Simone Tyler's research led her to Ampthill Park in Ampthill, Bedfordshire with this view showing the park's reservoir.

Captain Kronos (Horst Janson) rides past what appears to be one of the two real buildings seen in the production. To the extreme left stands Russet Lodge in Ampthill Park recognised by Simone who adds that director Brian Clemens lived in Ampthill for many years.

Pointer (Robert James) stops chopping wood as the Captain and Professor Heironymous Grost (John Cater) arrive in the courtyard at the studio home of Dr. Marcus.

After parting company with the Captain, Dr. Marcus heads for the home of his late friend Lord Hagen Durward. Simone Tyler spotted the ruined Houghton House in the centre distance which points to this view being filmed at Ampthill Park in Bedfordshire.
