In a flashback Lynda Steadman (Annie) meets Katrin Cartlidge (Hannah) for the first time while flat hunting in an unidentified street.

In the present day, the friends' reunion is imminent as Annie's train pulls into Platform 6 at Kings Cross Station on Euston Road, London N1. Of course, these days Kings Cross Station is more famous for the fictional platform 9 and 3/4 where Harry Potters' Hogwarts Express departs from.

A grown up Hannah strides along the platform at Kings Cross Station to meet her old friend Annie.

With St. Luke's Church in the right background, Peter captured the same location.

...and the car makes a turn onto Bartholomew Road NW5.

Following some unfortunate social events, the two girls attempt to re-unite with Ricky up in Hartlepool. The road behind them is The Front, Hartlepool TS25. While director Ridley Scott was still a student, he made his 16mm short 'Boy and Bicycle' (1965) in the town, even though he did not direct his first feature for another 15 years.

The girls search for Ricky's Nan's house at West View Terrace, Hartlepool TS25. The town has seen a fair bit of filming in recent years including parts of a Tim Roth movie The Liability from 2012 and also an episode of TV detective drama Vera with Brenda Blethyn.

The bench mas moved across the path and the rose-bed has gone but there's no mistaking that tree! SJ

After vaguely venting some frustration at the couple on the bench, Hannah walks off defiantly.

This is an improved angle to my previous shot (1/9/16 but taken several years before that) with the trees aligned. This is St Pancras Gardens, NW1, also seen in This Year's Love. SJ

Despite pleas to come back, Hannah makes off through St Pancras Gardens, NW1.

A modern comparison from Peter.

Adrian decides he's not the commitment type and walks off in another direction within the boundaries of St Pancras Gardens, NW1.
