Worried that he may do something illegal, Diana Castles (Jessie Matthews) follows Max Toliver (Alastair Sim) out of the house as he sets out to find a job. An obvious set built at Pinewood Studios in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire.

Nicky Brooke (Michael Redgrave) and Reggie Baird (Basil Radford) arrive outside the West End apartment block where Lady Constance Westaker lives. Another set at Pinewood with a painting of what appears to be BBC Broadcasting House on Portland Place in the right background.

Details of the backcloth as the set will be unlikely to be ever found. SJ

Getting work as a model, Diana’s image begins to appear on advertising hoardings. The train passing behind the poster board appears to be comprised of Metropolitan Railway 1904 Stock.

When Diana breaks off their engagement after discovering that he’s also supposed to be marrying Lady Constance Westaker, Nicky Brooke takes a flight to Switzerland. The Air Traffic Control Tower at Croydon Airport on Purley Way in Croydon, Surrey. The airport can also be seen in 'Top Secret', 'Wings of Danger' and 'The Lost Hours'.

Yodelling accompanies an establishing shot of the Swiss Alps where Diana’s over-protective brother arrives after following Nicky. Manuel Gurtner tells us that this is a view from Wengiwald, a hamlet in the well-known ski resort of Wengen, towards the Lauterbrunnen Valley in the Canton of Bern, Switzerland adding that, in the far distance, the summits of Grosshorn, Breithorn and Tschingelhorn can be seen.

As Diana and her advertising manager Gibson prepare to head for Switzerland, Jim makes enquiries at Nicky’s hotel and discovers that he’s out climbing a dangerous mountain. Arosa in the Canton of Graubünden, Switzerland identified by Steve Randall.
