Mr Alexander (Patrick Magee) and Mrs Alexander (Adrienne Corri) are about to get an unfortunate and life scarring visit from Alex (Malcolm McDowell) and his droogs. This road shot seems to have been captured on the lane leading to Munden House which is off School Lane, Bricket Wood WD25. Videos on the internet of this location show that the two pillars in the foreground are no longer there. They were probably added by the film production, as in reality the road does not come to a dead end.

  • 'Now' required

A switch in locations from the previous shot as Alex and his gang make their way through the Japanese Garden located at the so called 'New House' in Shipton-under-Wychwood, Oxfordshire.

Chelsea Embankment. In this shot you can see the bridge is a true suspension bridge, the now shot shows the addition of a pier in the middle of the bridge as it had become unsafe and needed the extra support,or would have been closed permanantly to traffic. Robert Cornelius
