At the racecourse, the crowd watch as rogue horse Maneater throws his jockey once again. Peter Brown advises that the racecouse seen is Northolt Park in Middlesex.

Maneater's new owner Sir Charles Bailey (Joss Ambler) angrily tells Bannerman (George Hayes) that he's been cleaned out. Northolt Park Play Centre, Pett's Hill Childrens Centre and roads named with a racing theme now occupy the site of the short lived course. Information from Peter.

While looking for tips, two boys mistake ice cream seller George (George Formby) for a jockey. Northolt Park racecourse, which also features in 'Dandy Dick' and 'Circumstantial Evidence'.

Sir Charles finds his empty wallet after it's thrown into George's refrigerator by two pickpockets. Northolt Park, Middlesex.

George speeds away as Sir Charles calls for the police. Peter tells us that one of the clues that identifies this as Northolt Park is the 'beehive' style stewards box seen in the background.

Now being pursued by several policemen, George attempts to squeeze through the crowd waiting to get into the railway station.

George runs along the platform until he finds somewhere to hide. Cole Green station between Cole Green and Letty Green in Hertfordshire advises Jonathan Horsell with information provided by Christopher Matheson. Opened in 1858, Cole Green station opened closed in June 1951.

After struggling to put Maneater into the horsebox, Bannerman tells trainer Jimmy Armstrong to watch out when he's unloaded. With information discovered by Christopher Matheson, research carried out with help from Jonathan Horsell identifies Cole Green station on the line connecting Welwyn Garden City to Hertford.

At fictional Avonbury Goods Yard, Maneater is ready to be removed from the horsebox. The cattle dock at Cole Green station in Hertfordshire.

Mr. Armstrong and stable-lad Nat (Ronald Shiner) are surprised when the usually wild horse is calmly walked from the horsebox by George. Cole Green station, the site of which is now a picnic area and car park for the Cole Green Way.

Maneater's name is changed to The Lamb and George fulfills a dream by becoming his rider at the next meeting. Peter Brown recognised the white concrete, cantilevered stand to the left as belonging to Northolt Park racecourse in London which opened in 1929 but closed just eleven years later.
Antony Blair returned to the location, now Grandstand Way on the Racecourse Estate.
