Titles appear over a shot of Tower Bridge, seen from Butlers Wharf in SE1 with the Tower of London visible in the centre distance.

The Tower of London and Trinity House (former Port of London Authority) have been overshadowed by development in the EC area. This same angle, taken from the corner of the riverside walk and Maggie Blake's Cause, was seen in "Diamonds on Wheels." SJ

The time and place are set by a view of the Victoria Memorial on The Mall outside Buckingham Palace in SW1.

This was taken within Green Park with the lamppost and trees matching nicely. SJ

Major Michael Currah explains to Melinda Greyton that the band of the Welsh Guards marching into view is part of a rehearsal for the Maharaja of Pindor's visit. Once again we have to be grateful that Dave W concentrated as hard during his journey to school as he did when there. Chelsea Barracks, Chelsea Bridge Road, London SW1 as he remembers them. (RL)

At Colonel Hammerbrook's suggestion, Major Michael Curragh (Robert Taylor) and Melinda Greyton (Elizabeth Taylor) take the part of the Maharaja and his Maharani. Chelsea Barracks, Chelsea Bridge Road, London SW1 as Dave W remembers them. (RL)

Talking together, the Major and Melinda leave the barracks after the rehearsal comes to an end. Dave W sees this as the Ranelagh Grove, London SW1 entrance of Chelsea Barracks. (RL)

Major Curragh arrives home to be handed a letter containing a postcard of Tower Bridge by the Postman. One has to wonder if Dave W actually spent any time at his school desk. He recollects being part of a crocodile of schoolboys passing Pelham Crescent, London SW7 when they saw David Jacobs, approximately where the car here is parked, bidding goodbye to some assorted friends. "We all noticed him and waved, he waved back" he says. (RL)

Acting on the message, the Major drives to town and catches a tube train. The train is Standard Stock and the station is on the Piccadilly Line.

Getting off the train at Holborn, Major Curragh looks around before leaving the platform. Platform 5 at Holborn station in WC2 which can also be seen in 'The Black Windmill', 'Turn the Key Softly', 'The Gentle Gunman', 'The Last Train', and 'Piccadilly Third Stop'.

Exiting the station, the Major paused to put on a coat, hat and glasses. Aided by the 'concave elevation' top left, that Dave W identified as the former Holy Trinity Church at 125 Kingsway, London WC2 he places this alleyway as Gate Street. (RL)

With his features hidden, Major Curragh continues on his way. With little or nothing in apparent available material to confirm we have to support Dave in his act of faith, given the proportions and perhaps continuity, that this is a reverse POV of Capture 9. (RL)

After climbing a set of steps, the Major turns into an alleyway.

Reaching his destination, Major Curragh knocks gently on the back door of a small dwelling before entering.

Sending a telegram to Melinda explaining that he's leaving town unexpectedly, the Major travels to Wales. With the fake station name covering the "Gentleman's" sign, this is Manod to the south of Blaenau Ffestiniog in Merionethshire.

Major Curragh walks across country from the station. Anthony Mckay identifies this as looking toward the island of Ynys Gifftan to the south of Minffordd in the Afon Dwyryd, Merionethshire.

Saying hello to Davies the gardener, the Major arrives at his Aunt Jessica's house. Plas Brondanw, Llanfrothen, Merionethshire, found by Steve Randall.

After listening to his Aunt's advice, Major Curragh phones Melinda and asks her to join him in Wales.

The shot pans with the train as it approaches Llandridd station.

A car brings the Major and Melinda to Aunt Jessica's home. Plas Brondanw, Llanfrothen, now in Gwynedd. (SR)

Church bells ring out after the marriage of Major Michael Curragh and Melinda Greyton. Looking up at the tower of St. Martin-in-the-Fields on St. Martin's Place WC2.

The camera crewmen must have had their backs against the National Gallery as it's quite a tight angle from the west pavement of St Martin's Place just before it turns into Charing Cross Road. SJ

When her husband's treacherous activities are uncovered, Melinda makes her way to speak with her sister Joyce. 6 Belgrave Square, London SW1 says Dave W. Various part of Belgrave Square and the surrounding streets have been seen in films, including in ‘The Wild Geese’, ‘The Fallen Idol’, ‘The Million Pound Note’, ‘Stolen Face’ and ‘Crossplot’. (RL)

Neil Kenny found that Belgrave Square is a bit of a racetrack nowadays but captured this view between cars.

Major and Mrs. Curragh go shooting in Norfolk with Colonel Hammerbrook. Looking towards Cley Mill on The Quay alongside the River Glevan in Cley next the Sea, Norfolk.

Steve Randall found that the windmill remains but the nearby buildings have changed.

George Parrish and his Wife greet the Curragh's and Colonel Hammerbrook when they arrive at their farm.

A Figure appears as Major Curragh walks away when he finds the Soviet Agents' safe house empty.
