Plenty of railway locations in this story in which a Young Man takes a seat opposite a Nun after boarding a train at Paddington station. This is the Cornish Riviera Express, ready to leave Paddington terminus on Praed Street, London W2.

As wartime exploits are recalled, a different train journey sees a younger Nun and a younger Airman travelling through occupied France. Taken from the 1952 BTF production ‘Train Time’, this is Penadlake Viaduct to the east of Bodmin Road station in Cornwall, identified by David Smith.

Again from the 1952 BTF production ‘Train Time’, David Smith believes this is an eastbound train running towards Keswick with the view looking from Keswick towards Braithwaite and Grisedale Pike in Cumberland.

Remembering how he avoided capture by an Enemy Soldier, the Young Man's train speeds from a tunnel in the present day. Jonathan Horswell found that this footage is taken from from the 1956 BTF production 'Making Tracks' . . . . all we have to do now is find the tunnel!
