The Eberstein Case began at London Airport at a time when many thousands of British folk, restricted after years of war, were once again journeying abroad.

When the body of financier Albert Eberstein is discovered in the departure lounge at London Airport, Scotland Yard's Inspector Duggan is put in charge of the case. Looking along Derby Gate SW1 towards Victoria Embankment with the Red Lion public house to the left and New Scotland Yard behind.

Following a lead, Inspector Duggan travels to Portugal to find singer Kara Gerhardt. Chalet Barros at Estoril, Cascais in the Lisbon District of Portugal.

The Lisbon Police are consulted and Kara is traced to the Café Mazaran. Palace do Buçaco on Mata do Bussaco, Luso in Mealhada, Aveiro District. The footage is reused from 'A Warning to Wantons' and was also seen in 'Third Party Risk'.

After Kara is questioned and her involvement in an international currency smuggling organisation is uncovered, the Inspector returns to London.

When Mrs. Maguire contacts the police with information about Eberstein, who was confirmed to be her ex-husband Patrick, Inspector Duggan and Sergeant Mason visit the dead man's secretary Helen Challoner at her Berkeley Mansions flat. Spring House, 205 Kingston Road, Wimbledon SW19 located by Peter Bywaters.

A squad car takes the Inspector to question Richard Carden, a travel agent that dealt with Patrick Maguire's arrangements. Peter Bywaters identifies this as Wilton Grove in Wimbledon SW19.

The houses with the distinctive half circular canopies over the front doors are obscured in Peter's view.

Inspector Duggan (Russell Napier) walks to the front door which is opened by Felix Roget, a friend of Mrs. Carden. Wilton Grove, less than half a mile from Merton Park Studios, located by Peter Bywaters.

The greenery has grown somewhat in Peter's comparison.

After speaking again with Mr. Carden at Bowater's travel agency, Sergeant Mason (Arthur Gomez) follows him to London Airport.

Laura enters the house to find news that makes her very cheerful before she heads for London Airport to catch a flight to France. Found by Peter Bywaters, this is facing number 4 Wilton Grove in Wimbledon.

Peter had to take a step to the right otherwise the shot would have been all hedge!
