Lagging behind, Jim (Christopher Warbey) bumps into the Headmaster (Charles Leno).

At a wall overlooking the harbour, Jim asks Bill Buckle (John Slater) if the Cascade has left yet.

Bill turns to the young lad and explains that the tide hasn't turned yet and they're taking the Cascade to the quay to collect ice that will keep the fish fresh.

A whistle sounds signalling that Jim needs to join the other Boys who are being taken to the harbour by Mr. Goodall. The entrance to the British Seaman's Orphan Boys' Home on Berry Head Road, Brixham. The home became a Nautical Venture Centre in 1990 and the Grenville House Outdoor Education Centre five years later.

Learning that their policy expires in ten days, the brothers leave Mr. Smith's office after being told that the 70 year old trawler will require a full survey before a new certificate can be issued. Outside Bigwoods Ice Store at 15 The Quay, Brixham.

I think the only ice to be found here now would be in a drink! PW

Angry at the prospect of losing their livelihood, George, Job and Grunt make their way to the pub. The Fish Market running along The Quay with the timbered Victory public house to the right. The Fish Market and The Quay also feature in 'Churchill: The Hollywood Years' and 'Mr. Selkie' while other views of the town appear in 'The System'.

After taking Bill on as a crew member, George, Job and Grunt walk back to the Cascade where Jim overhears them talking about wrecking the boat to claim the insurance money.

As a gale begins to blow, the Coastguard spots Cascade in trouble before he runs from the lifeboat house. The Lifeboat House below Berry Head Road in Brixham.

The Crew teach the harbour where the lifeboat is moored. The urinal stood on the harbour side of the Market House on The Strand and the building seen to the top left is the previous incarnation of the Bullers Arms Inn.

With just Bill and Jim on board, Cascade nears rocks in the Devil's Pass. Mew Stone in the English Channel south of Berry Head, Brixham, which can also be seen in 'Guilt Is My Shadow'.

The trawler is rescued and towed back to the harbour. Cascade was played by BM316 Toreador which was built in the earlier years on the 20th century.
