Taking a break from university with her with friend Elsa Tenney, Jean Norberg arrives to visit her uncle, Dr. Norberg. Geoff Dodd provides the location as Clandon Park House, West Clandon, near Guildford, Surrey. The property, in the ownership of the National Trust, suffered a devastating fire in 2015. (RL)

The following morning, Norberg's assistant Karl Essen makes sure that ‘Elsa’ is seen departing on the 6am train to London. Merton Park station in Wimbledon SW19. The station also appears in ‘Horror Hospital’, 'Accidental Death', 'Solo for Sparrow' and ‘Hidden Homicide’.

Seen to have boarded the train, ‘Elsa’ alights and hurries from the platform to get into Essen’s car. Merton Park station closed in 1997 and part of the site is now occupied by Merton Park tram stop on the Croydon Tramlink network.

Investigating the disappearance of Jean’s friend, Inspector Witt (Tom Chatto) turns to walk away when there’s no answer at Mrs. Schmidt’s front door. The property stands on Rutlish Road in Merton Park.

I'm slightly to the right to show more of the front door and the ground tiling pattern. Same gate work. SJ
