Can you help:

If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.

We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

Roland-François Lack contacted us "I'm afraid I have doubts about a previous identification of the first few screen captures for this film. They are all Kensington High Street. In 1966, there was a Barratt's Shoe Shop at 135 Kensington High Street . . ."

Confirmed by Richard Lovejoy. Kensington High Street . . . . 135 opposite.

Kensington High Street W8.

. . . and so the other side it has to be, but somewhat different shopfronts. Now by from Richard Lovejoy.

A London Eating House at 108/110 Kensington High Street advises Roland-Francois Lack.

London Eating House was indeed at 108 High Street, Kensington, now, who else but MacDonalds! Note the brickwork if confirmation is necessary. Richard Lovejoy.

Peter Astaire locates this as Hogarth Road in Earls Court SW5, which can be seen in 'Straight On Till Morning', 'Laughter in the Dark', 'Sapphire', 'Two a Penny' and 'Mr. Forbush and the Penguins' . . .

Same playground, different viewpoint

I used to play on the big slide as a young child. The Rec also had a large paddling pool, which is just beyond the slide in gg014. The two blocks in the background are still visible and these are fronted on Carlton Vale London NW6. Jenner again, thank you.

Town Hall, Haverstock Hill, Belsize Park, NW3.

Now. Thanks to Tony Reeves

At the time of filming the Town Hall was being used as a local register office overseeing, for example, Dudley Moore's and Suzy Kendall's wedding in 1968. It has now home to Wacs Art. SJ
