Get Santa

The camera continues to follow the Skateboarder beneath the snow laden sky. Carter Lane EC4 with the corner of Addle Hill to the left of centre.

Something in the sky catches the Skateboarder's eye . . . is that a reflection of Santa's Sleigh in the windows above? Watling Street at the corner of Bread Street EC4 with One New Change filling the background and St. Paul’s Cathedral on the far left.

The following morning, rush hour chaos is caused by a herd of Reindeer crossing Tower Bridge. The bridge spans the Thames in SE1 connecting Tower Hamlets and Southwark.

Meanwhile, Steve Anderson (Rafe Spall) is marched through the film's Lambeth Prison courtyard on his way to be released. HMP Lancaster Castle on Stone Row Head in Lancaster, Lancashire.

Television news channels report on the reindeer. The up river Golden Jubilee Bridge with Hungerford Bridge and Charing Cross station in WC2 to the right.

No reindeer in Peter's shot.

Steve calls his ex-Wife about seeing his son Tom while collecting an old camper van from storage. The former Midland Mills premises in Leeds with Silver Street and the disused Holbeck Railway Viaduct visible through the gateway to the bottom right.

Tom writes a letter to Santa which flies up the chimney after he puts it in the living room fireplace. The property beneath this roof stands on Park Lane, Rothwell in West Yorkshire.

Instead of making it's way to Lapland, the letter streaks towards the shed in Tom's back garden. The rear of the house in Park Lane in Rothwell.

After Tom and his Dad discover him asleep in the shed, Santa Claus makes his way to where his reindeer have been taken following the previous evening's sleigh crash. The entrance to Battersea Dogs & cats Home on Battersea Park Road SW8.

Santa Claus (Jim Broadbent) attempts to rescue the reindeer. The CGI background includes the chimneys of Battersea Power Station . . . but if the shot was real this location would be the other side of the Thames on Grosvenor Road, Pimlico.

The next day, Steve ponders Tom's idea about helping Santa to return to Lapland in time for Christmas Eve. Various parts of Nainby House, Sambrook House and Gaysley House off Hotspur Street in Kennington SE11.

More children's letters fly around Lambeth Prison where Santa Claus has been taken after being arrested at Battersea Cats & Dogs Home. Tom Anderson (Kit Connor) comes out of the house that he shares with his mother Alison and her partner Tony. Park Lane in Rothwell, Leeds.

Following a visit to Santa in prison, Tom and Steve climb over a fence into Richmond Park to find Dasher.

Having rescued Dasher, Steve and Tom flee the park when the police turn up in a Land Rover.

The camper smashes through the park gate and Steve loses the pursuing Officers.

With Dasher in the back of the van, the two drive onward, making their way to the site of the sleigh crash. Facing northeast on Oldfield Lane in Leeds, West Yorkshire with Tong Road almost visible in the right distance.

Steve and his son come across the wrecked sleigh. This is the track bed of the former railway running between Wortley West and South Junctions to the east of Wortley Recreation Ground.

After letting all the magic flying powder out of the sleigh, Steve takes a call from his Parole Officer. Overhead, the bridge carries the footpath from Wortley Recreation Ground to Whitehall Road over the disused railway.

Finding a book of instructions in the sleigh, Steve and Tom head to Suffolk to find another way to rescue Santa and save Christmas.

As Santa prepares for Christmas in prison, Steve and Tom drive towards the mystical Hermey’s Tower. Facing eastward on Waterloo Bridge.

Peter notes the expanding cluster of buildings to the right of St.Paul's.

Parole Officer Ruth Morbury (Joanna Scanlan) makes her way to the Police Station to report Steve when he doesn't turn up for his daily meeting.

Yet more letters make their way to Santa. HMP Wandsworth on Heathfield Road in London SW18 which is seen from other angles in 'The Criminal', 'The Scarlet Web', 'Time Without Pity', 'The Pot Carriers', 'The Cracksman', 'Law and Disorder' and 'There Was a Crooked Man'.

When the camper breaks down on the motorway, Steve, Tom and Dasher make their way on foot to a nearby town. Looking along The Shambles from Market Place in Wetherby, West Yorkshire.

A Norse Haul van is spotted that didn't stop to give them a lift earlier. Market Place with West Gate in the left distance.

Being given a lift by the Norse Haul Van Driver, the two make their way to Hermey’s Tower. Hoober Stand on Lea Brook Lane in Wentworth near Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

The two discover that the building is actually a post box for letters that have been sent to Santa. Hoober Stand in South Yorkshire.

Father and son examine the odd monument but can't see a way in. The three sided Hoober Stand was constructed between 1746 and 1748.

While Tom moves the pieces of a what appears to be a puzzle, Steve calls the prison to find that Santa has been placed in solitary confinement.

Climbing inside Hermey's Tower, the pair are transported through a network of tubes until they reach the Elf City in Lapland.

The Elves give an old sleigh pulled by an elderly Prancer to Steve and Tom before the pair return to London with a fresh supply of magic powder.

The Police are alerted when Santa escapes through fellow prisoner Sally's tunnel before Steve and Tom reach them. The A653 Dewsbury Road near Junction 4 of the M621 in Leeds.

As sirens wail in the distance, Santa and Sally (Warwick Davis) run through the streets near the prison.

The two convicts look out from their hiding place after a police car passes. Outside York House on Park Place, Leeds.

While Tom's mother and her partner Tony head toward Lambeth, a police car drives past the prison.

After the police car passes, Tom opens a security grille to let him and his Dad out from the prison.

Santa waves to stop Alison (Jodie Whittaker) and Tony as they approach Coldharbour Lane. In reality, this is looking towards Queen Street on Park Place in Leeds.

While trying to contact Alison by phone, Steve and Tom continue their search for Santa.

In the driving seat, Tony (Joshua McGuire) turns around as Santa and Sally climb into the car. Facing east on Park Place.
