Teenage Girls hang around as they wait for a Rock Band to appear. Facing 60 to 76 Lauderdale Mansions on Lauderdale Road in W9 identified by @VerlagMeyer.

This is 60-76 Lauderdale Mansions. However the tree, though the same shape, looks in the wrong place. I would submit it should be the entrance to nos. 42-58 and so this may require a revisit. SJ

Following the Band when they emerge from the building, the Girls cling on to their heroes arms as they walk. Lauderdale Road in Maida Vale.

Elgin Avenue with Ashworth Mansions to the left, from where the spire of St. Marks church is visible in the right of centre distance.

I'm not sure even a winter shot would capture a spire. SJ

A Groupie kneels on the roadway as the Transit passes. At the roundabout where Sutherland Avenue meets Lauderdale Road and Warrington Crescent.

Panning right. The roundabout is no longer plain grass but thickly cultivated and so restricts the angles. SJ

@VerlagMeyer advises that the van is passing the turn for Lauderdale Road.

This approach to Lauderdale Road is now one way. SJ

I expect the postbox is behind the van in the original. SJ

After a pause at a red traffic light, the van turns onto the main road. Ray Glenister finds us in Elgin Avenue W9, with Morshead Road on the right, virtually out of shot. The red call box stands outside the Girls School. (RL)

Finding the K2 telephone kiosk still in place, Richard Bennett explains that the angle differs slightly to avoid identifying features being hidden behind a tree.

Pulling the focus, the camera follows the van as it approaches. Following on from the previous capture and just a short way away, Ray places this as at Elgin Mansions on Elgin Avenue W9 (RL)

The song comes to an end as the five pose sitting on the northernmost Sphinx beneath Cleopatra's Needle opposite Victoria Embankment Gardens. @VerlagMeyer recognised spot along with the Savoy Hotel in the background.

This is the eastern sphinx which guards Cleopatra's Needle. A replacement as the trees in my August shot completely obscured the background as well as being compromised by a high tide. SJ
