Having been approached by a Hungarian named Zoltan whilst serving his three year sentence, Basil (Matthew Goode) is released from confinement.

Basil heads for a meeting with Erzebet Zslondos, a Hungarian crime boss, whilst pondering the job that could mean early retirement. High Road Leytonstone E11 with the Shepherd’s Inn to the left.

Danny Jones (Phil Daniels) is recruited and he in turn approaches Brian Reader (Larry Lamb). The graveyard of St. Mary's church on Overton Drive in Wanstead E11.

The now retired Frank Baskin meets with Marcus Ford at Upton Park. The shot pans across the roof of West Ham United’s stadium on Green Street E13.

Sitting in an empty stand, the pair discuss what they are hearing about the Hungarians robbing a vault in Hatton Garden. The Sir Trevor Brooking Stand at West Ham’s Boleyn Ground. The stadium was demolished in 2016 to make way for a new development.

On his way to meet with Basil and Danny, Brian pockets a Freedom Pass that he finds on the bus. By tracking the 388 bus route, Steve Randall was led to Cambridge Heath Road E2, here facing south towards the junction with Old Ford Road.

And a 388 obliged with its timing. SJ

In the pub, Basil, Danny and Brian talk about the job and consider who else should be recruited. The Railway Tavern at the corner of Windmill Lane and Angel Lane in E15.

Having borrowed the Guard’s lighter to light his cigarette, Terry gets into the car.

The Guard takes out a cigarette and realises that his lighter has been stolen.

Judas-Jack (Jack Doolan) walks to his car where Baskin gets in beside him and asks questions about Hatton Garden.

In an empty workshop, Terry tells a story whilst he, Kenny and Danny wait for Basil and Brian.

When the gang are all assembled, the heist is outlined and questions answered. Looking west along Greville Street from Hatton Garden in EC1.

Brian leaves the Hatton Garden Safe Deposit Company after being shown around as a prospective depositer. Facing the corner of Greville Street and Hatton Garden. Hatton Garden and the surrounding streets also appear in ‘King of Thieves’, ‘Robbery’, 'The Lavender Hill Mob', ‘Dateline Diamonds’, ‘The Primitives’, ‘The Secret Place’, ‘The Frightened Man’ and ‘A Fish Called Wanda’.

Meeting with his paymaster again, Basil receives an envelope from Erzebet Zslondos. Shepherd’s Inn at the junction of West Street and High Road Leytonstone in E11.

The camera begins to tilt up from a street in the City. Dave Nattriss identifies this as Hertsmere Road E14, west of the car park structure, looking towards number 1 West India Quay,

The shot finds the top floors of Isaac’s Casino where Erzebet Zslondos and Marcus Ford exchange pleasantries. Found by Dave Nattriss, this is looking towards number 1 West India Quay, which was digitally dressed as the casino. The outline of the HSBC building on Canary Wharf can be seen behind.

This multi-use building, completed in 2008 and also with Hertsmere Road addresses, was seen in 'Run Fatboy Run' and 'Layer Cake.' SJ

Basil arrives at the pub to meet with Danny, Terry and Brian. Looking south along Angel Lane from the Railway Tavern at the corner of Windmill Lane.

As they pass through quiet streets Baskin tells Basil that he’s playing a dangerous game. Tris identifies this as Warner Street in EC1 with Rosebery Street viaduct passing overhead.

Before dropping Basil off, Baskin makes his demands. Located by Tris, this is the view along Phoenix Place towards the Apple Tree public house with the Mount Pleasant sorting office to the left in EC1/WC1.

The morning after a heavy night of drinking begins with the gang waking up.

Kenny gets out of the car where he has been sleeping.

Good Friday dawns and the old men prepare for the heist. Looking over E13 from Upton Park stadium on Green Street with Castle Point to the extreme left and Jacobs House towards the centre distance.

Paul Reader (David Garlick) tells Danny that his father Brian is in bed as he isn’t well.

After CCTV cameras are dealt with, the Transit is reversed towards a narrow entryway allowing the gang dressed as workmen to get out. Looking out of Hat & Mitre Court onto St. John Street in EC1.

Frank Baskin passes an envelope to Marcus Ford (Stephen Moyer). This appears to be the Thames Path on the river to the south of Wapping Wall in E1 with Canary Wharf in the distance.

Basil escapes justice when he disappears as a bus passes him outside a travel agent. Opposite Harrow Green on High Road Leytonstone in E11.

Following the arrest of Danny, Brian, Terry and Kenny, DCI Emma Carter (Sarah-Jane Crawford) leaves Judas-Jack’s house after he is taken into custody.
