This is South Western Road, a residential road much minor than it sounds near St. Margaret's, just one road south from the Turk's Head where the Beatles filmed A Hard Day's Night. The post box is by 1 South Western Road. SJ.

Bond Street, London W1, which appears in many other films including ‘Octopussy’, 'Appointment with Crime', 'Nothing But the Best', ‘Absolute Beginners’, ‘The Mine and the Minotaur’, 'Crooks Anonymous', ‘Just My Luck’, ‘Baby Love’, ‘Joanna’, ‘The Lady is a Square’, ‘The Stud’, ‘I Don’t Want to be Born’ and of course ‘Bond Street’.

City Barge pub, Strand-on-the-Green Michael Bradley supplies some detail for this famous location, "This riverside pub on Strand-on-the-Green claims to have been in existence since 1484 when it was called The Navigator's Arms. However, it first appeared in the licensing lists in 1787 as the City Navigational Barge, and eventually became the City Barge. In 1940 much of the pub was destroyed by a parachute mine and threatened with demolition but luckily it was reprieved. It is therefore one of the oldest pubs in London. During spring tides, water rises and the riverside towpath disappears, trapping visitors." (SJ)
