Acting on the information obtained by Ward, saboteurs blow up the SS Asia Star in London's docks. Peter Brown having identified higtr010 suggests that this is likely to be Royal Albert Dock as it has cranes as shown in the capture. (RL)

Drinkers leave a pub when they hear the explosion. Peter Brown identifies this as Gallions Hotel at Gallions Reach at the far end of Royal Albert Dock. It still exists and in view of its interesting history much can be found on the Internet. (RL)

The fire brigade are alerted and race to pier 47. Southwark Fire Station on Southwark Bridge Road SE1 which can also be seen in 'The Fire Raisers'.

Now redeveloped into apartments known as Brigade Court with the exterior intact. SJ

When suspicions are aroused, Scotland Yard agents keep an eye on dock supervisor Morgan Williams (Geoffrey Keen).

That evening, the police arrive at Williams' flat to question him but find that he has been murdered.

Scotland Yard detectives continue their investigations and are led to a woman named Anna Braun. Noting the branch of Freeman Hardy Willis to the left, Anthony Spencer identifies this as outside 168 Portobello Road in London W11.

Contacts are questioned about Braun's boyfriend. Dave W was determined to track this down and his efforts were rewarded, he found Hooper's Court, London SW3, here looking towards Brompton Road from the Basil Street end. The man is leaning against what was the side of the Basil Street Hotel and to the left stands Knightsbridge Fire Station. (RL)

A planned attack on power stations throughout the country proceeds. Battersea Power Station in Kirtling Street, London SW8.

Peter Bywaters captured Battersea Power Station at Christmas. The former power station is a Grade Two listed building and now serves as a retail outlet and leisure facility.

After the saboteurs efforts are thwarted and Mansfield is arrested, Commander Robert Brennan (Liam Redmond) leaves the Ellis household.
