When their car breaks down, a young man takes older daughter Pamela to Mrs. Jenkins' guest house and the rest of the family follow by cab. The Promenade at Blackpool, Lancashire with the Tower left of centre. The resort also appears in 'They Met in the Dark', ‘Forbidden’, ‘Dick Barton Strikes Back’, 'A Taste of Honey', 'Sing As We Go' and ‘Love on the Dole’.

Antony Blair went on a holiday with pay 75 years later and came back with this snap.
