Workers leave the plant as Ted Groves makes his way to the gate moaning to a colleague about a younger workmate who thinks atomic energy will make gas redundant.

At the Central Garage, mechanics Sid Jarvis and his pal Johnnie Knowles are finishing work for the day. This appears to be the Central Garage that stood at 75 Shenley Road in Borehamwood.

Following his research, Anthony McKay reveals that the petrol station is just a pump on the National Studios backlot which is confirmed by the background buildings on Grosvenor Road and Shenley Road, Elstree.

Imprisoned by his ne'er-do-well Mother in the hope of pocketing his half of the pools winnings, Sid escapes through a skylight of his Aunt and Uncle's house. Anthony McKay identifies this as Rowley Lane in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

Wearing just his underwear, Sid Jarvis (Harry Fowler) keeps down as he runs across a field set aside for redevelopment. The property stands off Rowley Lane, Borehamwood and Anthony McKay found the location.

Sid stops at the gateway when he sees two Women approaching on the road. Not far from MGM studios, this is Rowley Lane, Borehamwood located by Anthony.

Wearing a plot number from the building site on his chest, Sid starts running towards London. Anthony McKay advises that this is Rowley Lane in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

Surrounded by jeering Children, Sid finds a signpost to put him on the right road.

Al and Mary arrive on the street where Mrs. Jarvis is throwing bricks through Aunt Jean's windows. Looking southward on Clarendon Road with Shenley Road in the distance.
