In his car, Danny Grant approaches the film's Valleywood station as a train's whistle is heard. Station Road at Baynards, Surrey with the sign for the, now closed, Thurlow Arms public house standing to the right of centre.

Well, now and again, more often than I'd prefer, I visit a location and miss the basic shot. All i had to do was turn 90 degrees to the left, so here is a consoling photo of the rather sad scene of The Thurlow Arms very closed car park. SJ

The shot pans as Danny brings the car to a stand. Baynards railway station on the route running between Guildford and Horsham.

Joe the Stationmaster walks onto the platform. The station opened in October 1865 and closed four months before its centenary.

As Danny gets out of the car, the train draws into the platform. Baynards railway station confirms Ray Darrell.

Slightly off angle but the fence and hedge protecting this treasure are high. SJ

Danny Grant (Tommy Kirk) makes it to the platform to meet the new students attending Valleywood Riding School. Baynards station was also seen in 'Room at the Top', 'They Were Sisters', ‘Monster of Terror’, ‘Rotten To The Core’ and ‘The Grass is Greener’.

Church bells ring as the congregation leaves after Sunday morning service. St. Andrew's church in Wraysbury, Buckinghamshire located by Steve Randall.

Tilting down, the shot finds the students as they walk through the church yard. Found by Steve Randall, this is St. Andrew's church in Wraysbury which also appears in 'Bedazzled' and 'The Innocents' and 'The Oblong Box'.

Moving down from the spire, Nick Boorman captured the church entrance.

After the students all pass their examinations, they are asked by Hardy Cole to attend the opening meet of the season. Which takes place outside the Three Horse Shoes public house on Dyehouse Lane, Thursley in Surrey.

'The Horsemasters' of Valleywood follow the hunt. At some point since the 1970s, Dyehouse Lane was renamed Dyehouse Road.

Horses and hounds set off for some fox hunting scenes overseen by the Hunt Master of the Chiddingfold, Leconfield and Cowdray Hunt. Looking east on Dyehouse Road in Thursley, Surrey.

Still extant; the post-box and telephone box, converted, like many, into a cPAD containing defibrillator. SJ
