Philip accompanies Anna when she visits Mr. Finlay to enquire about hiring a yacht. Sue Ralph identifies this as Viscount Street on the EC1/EC2 border with the bombed out remains of the Jewin Welsh chapel at the corner of Fann Street in the right background and the then new Great Arthur House tower block on the Golden Lane estate beyond.

Viscount Street opposite the corner of Brackley Street with the ruined Jewin Welsh chapel in the right background located by Sue Ralph.
