When an alien from a crashed spaceship is taken to an isolated hospital the temperature begins to rise inside before the staff discover that they are trapped within a force field.

At the back of the hospital, Dr. Claire Harland (Valerie Gearon) and Dr. Vernon make their way to a manhole cover as he attempts to leave through the sewers in order to retrieve the alien's power pack. Ray Glenister places this as Merton Park Studios. The staircase is also seen in 'Man with a Gun' while the studio complex appears in 'The Partner'. (RL)

Deciding to leave Blackburn's house and return to London, Elaine (Stephanie Bidmead) turns when a lorry approaches.
