The titles fade as dramatic music accompanies various views of the London district. It may have happened in Soho . . . but it was dark when it did! Facing Newport Dwellings on Newport Place in WC2. A location that can also be seen in 'Emil and the Detectives'.

Inspector Carp and his Men arrive when the murderer is identified and cornered. Newman Passage in W1 identified by Celia Lunn. The narrow allay can also be seen in 'Last Night in Soho', 'Flannelfoot', 'Peeping Tom', 'Das Geheimnis der gelben Narzissen' and 'The Frightened City'.

Celia's Mother Rosie took this shot which highlights that the side walls have been modernised and the lower window in the background is now a door.
