Just Like a Woman (1967)

John Martin (John Wood) collects Scilla Alexander (Wendy Craig) from outside the house after an argument with her partner Lewis. Mary French advises that the house, together with some other screen captures are situated in Templemere, a private estate on Oatlands Drive between Weybridge and Walton on Thames. (RL)

John Harwood ventured into the estate with his camera but, with lots of people around, admits he may have missed some specific angles. (Here the windows looks the wrong round to me but there could have been a refit. SJ)

In the city, John pulls up outside the house where he has a flat. Likely to be somewhere in Notting Hill as following scenes are also shot in the area. Somewhere in Notting Hill indeed, Ray Glenister finds it to be Colville Terrace. (RL)

After she buys a plot of land, John takes Scilla to see eccentric architect Graff von Fischer. The entrance of the Metropolitan Water Board works on Sunbury Way, Hanworth, Middlesex with Kempton Water Treatment Works on Snakey Lane in the distance, which were also seen in ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’.

On the roof of the building von Fischer's Workmen (including Johnny Vyvyan and John Louis Mansi) wait for action like wartime air force pilots.

When bells and klaxons sound, the Workmen rush down from the roof and head to their machines. The Metropolitan Water Board works on Sunbury Way, Hanworth near Feltham.

While one of the Men gets into the driving seat of von Fischer's car, the others climb into Messerschmitt KRs.

With surveying equipment loaded into the car, Graff von Fischer (Clive Dunn) signals to his Men. In front of the Metropolitan Water Board works on Sunbury Way, a location now overshadowed by the A316 Country Way.

Following his men in their Messerschmitts, Graff von Fischer crosses a bridge as they near the field to be surveyed. This is No.1 bridge carrying Walton Lane over the Desborough Channel to Desborough Island. The location is also seen in 'The Scarlet Web'.

Scilla parts company with her Friend (Angela Browne) and goes into a showroom to choose a bath for her new home.
