After his wife is discovered to have collapsed, Gregory Black (David Farrar) cycles to get help. Worton Hall Studios on Worton Road in Isleworth, Middlesex. The studio was also used as a location in ‘The Last Days of Dolwyn’ and 'The Body Vanished'.

Holding onto the physician's trap, Gregory returns home with Dr. Septimus Prendergast. The Square, Shere. The village was also seen in 'Dick Barton: Special Agent', 'The Ruling Class', 'The Holiday', 'The Earth Dies Screaming', 'Bachelor of Hearts', 'The Earth Dies Screaming' and 'Monster of Terror''Reunion at Fairborough' and 'Monster of Terror'.

I probably should be further back but I wanted to capture the willow in the middle. SJ

70 years later taken by Antony Blair.

Soon after Edwina's funeral, Gregory proposes to Elizabeth Graham (Geraldine Fitzgerald), his wife's former companion.

After the wedding but before the doubts surrounding Edwina's death are cleared up, Gregory waves at Elizabeth from the garden of the house that they now share.

With mistrust running rife at home, Gregory visits Dr. Prendergast after Elizabeth claims to have been poisoned. The Square in Shere with St. James’s Church in the right distance.
