In fictional North Bromwich, sisters Ellen Isit and Agnes Isit struggle to run their academy for young ladies until discovering that they have inherited a villa in Italy from a deceased uncle. Here, a model wall stands in front of what appears to be either a photograph or a further model.

Arriving in Italy, Ellen (Dulcie Gray) and Agnes Isit (Margaret Johnston) are met by Salvatore Ferraro (Kieron Moore) at Naples station. The cast are surrounded by the matte painting of the railway station.

A bell rings out as Ellen wakes on the following morning. Looking out on Maiori recognised by Simon James. Manuel Gurtner adds that the view is from the campanile of the Chiesa di San Pietro alla Costa, located in the town Ravello above the Bay of Salerno in Campania with the Chiesa di San Michele Arcangelo to the bottom left and the seaside resort of Maiori in the far distance.

While paying a visit, Agnes's former fiancé Dr. Benjamin Dench takes Ellen into town for tea.

After romance blossoms between them, Agnes and Salvatore are married. This is the Chiesa di San Salvatore de' Bireto on the Piazza Umberto I in Atrani on the Amalfi Coast which is also seen in 'A Good Woman' and 'The Equaliser 3.' SJ

Soon after he starts poisoning Agnes, Salvatore approaches Ellen during a break from work on the estate.

Realising that Salvatore is poisoning her sister, Ellen runs from Castello Inglese.

Ellen makes her way into the village to fetch the Doctor and finds that Dr. Dench has returned.

Discovering that Agnes has been poisoned, Dr. Benjamin Dench (Guy Middleton) waits for Salvatore at the top of the cliff and the two fight. A composite shot filmed in the safety of the studio.
