After the Stardust Club is smashed up by Max and his Henchmen, Mike pays a visit to the East End. Culvert Road SW11 with the British Flag public house at the corner of Sheepcote Lane to the right and West London Junction signalbox to the centre top. Getting out of his Ford Consul Convertible, Mike enters a pub where an old associate Larry works. Outside the Bagley Arms public house at the corner of Culvert Road and Brougham Street in Battersea.

The Wilditch Estate, built between 1965-68, replaced the terrace. SJ

When he's pointed out by Larry, Mike follows Roger (Jack Taylor) from the pub. Seen from the corner of Cabul Road and Latchmere Grove in SW11, this is the southern end of an unnamed and still extant thoroughfare from Latchmere Road,

Still there indeed and I found Latchmere Passage on one map. SJ

Turning a corner, Mike loses sight of Roger. Looking west along Cabul Road in Battersea. A similar view appears in 'Man Detained'.

The railway viaduct and tunnel remain. SJ

Watched by Roger through the window of a nearby house, Mike returns to his car. The corner of Cabul Road and Latchmere Grove.

Very stripped back now. SJ

After escaping from Wandsworth Prison, John Drayson (Harold Lang) arrives to see Max and Roger. Facing the front doors of numbers 61 to 65 Cabul Road SW11.

About here. SJ
