The engine revs before the racing car driven by Peter Wells accelerates away from the camera. This is Goodwood Motor Circuit near Chichester in Sussex.

On their practice session, two cars head into a chicane. Goodwood Motor Circuit opened in 1948 with the first race being held in in September.

On his way to the track on morning of the race, Peter visits Pic in his hotel room. The Bull Hotel on Oxford Road, Gerrards Cross in Buckinghamshire. The hotel can be seen in 'Wombling Free', 'Thriller – Kill Two Birds' and 'The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp'.

Antony Blair returned to the location 69 years later to find the Bull Hotel still going strong.
