Alexander Armstrong (Mr Townsend) introduces Matthew Goode (Tom Hewett) to Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Chris) at The Queen’s Club, Palliser Road, London W14. It is a private sporting club and hosts the annual Queen's Club Championships grass court men's lawn tennis tournament. It is also the national headquarters of real tennis, hosting the British Open every year.

The scene is set for the garden party at the Hewett Estate. It is actually Englefield House, Englefield, Reading in Berkshire... Both the house and St Mark's church (cap14) to the west of Theale are seen in The Thursday Murder Club while the house appears Easy Virtue, X-Men: First Class and Netflix's The Crown. (SJ)

Chloe's own house, where she is about to get some parental opinion is currently unidentified, but possibly somewhere near Eaton Square in Belgravia, London.

I would agree with Eaton Square and have "zoned in" on 115 on the north side, the main reason being that this has smoothly plastered walls either side of the columns which is unusual in the square. The porch lamp too is encouraging. SJ

Rhys starts a new job in the Gherkin building at Brian Cox's (Alex Hewett) business. The official name of the location is 30 St Mary Axe, London EC3. The location was also used in 'Basic Instinct 2' (2006) and also 'A Good Year', starring Russell Crowe, and nearby Undershaft appears in 'Children of Men'.

This replaces Peter's shot from Bishopsgate from June 2016. The angle was, in fact, from Houndsditch looking south-west down Goring Street across Bevis Marks. Since the film, the view has been obscured by new building in the 2010s. And extraordinarily the new-ish looking building on the original's right was replaced in the mid 2010s. So all we have left is the left and the Gherkin peeping over the top. SJ

The group head out to a movie at the Curzon Mayfair Cinema at 38 Curzon St, Mayfair, London W1J. It is a 2-screen arthouse cinema focused on independent and foreign films.

A naughty Jonathan Rhys Meyers moves to dispose some evidence as he walks out from underneath the old Blackfriars Railway Bridge, London. UK-based graffiti artist Banksy's 'Girl With Balloon' is on the wall. The bridge has since been redeveloped.

A slightly wider view to show the changes. The Thames Path now goes under Blackfriars Railway Bridge whereas before it was sealed off. The Banksy "Heart Balloon" would have been roughly where the beige block with a pair of "doorknobs" on the left is. SJ
