The concourse of London’s Waterloo station where announcer Gail Martin’s song over the public address system encourages porters and passengers to join in. American Terry Arden (Evelyn Dall) leaves the station after arriving on the boat train from Southampton. The steps pass through Waterloo station’s Victory Arch which also appears in ‘Rough Shoot’, ‘No Place for Jennifer’, 'Inadmissible Evidence' and ‘The Wrecker’.
Dave W found various obstacles preventing an identical position for this shot and closer inspection of the station steps suggested that these are not vintage WWII so no residual trace of blackout paint stripes could be found. (RL)
