David Martens (Keith Andes) bumps into her as she walks backwards from the graveside and announces that he is lost. By chance she happens to know the girl he is looking for. The church spire of St Matthias, Richmond can be seen between them.
St Matthias is there, really.

She agrees to show him to the main gates and then maybe show him around London.
Unfortunately they are going in the wrong direction. For the record, Roy Kinnear is buried just inside the gates and only a few plots further on is cinematographer Ray Sturgess.

David having been framed for the robbery of jewellery from the fashion house where Sally works and the murder of a model, visits "Chertsey Lock" where the Siamese cat of Kingsley Beauchamp (Michael Gough), owner of the fashion house has been found.
It is actually Shepperton Lock, filmed at Shepperton Studios they clearly changed the name for that purpose. The lock keepers "hut" has now been moved to the other side, replaced by toilets and refuse facilities.

As David discusses with the lock keeper (Charles Lamb) the size of the splash that clearly was not made by a cat, that was in any event bone dry, Beauchamp’s chauffeur, Costard (Edwin Richfield) turn up in the van to collect the cat but leaves hurriedly when he sees David.
As we all know "white vans" are much more common these days.

David leaves with the cat in a very convenient taxi just as the lock keeper sees a body in the river.
It was probably the last taxi to seek hire there.

The lock keeper rushes to telephone the police about what is the body of the model Diana Leigh (Julia Arnall). The location was also seen in 'Circle of Danger'.
The house remains very much the same, save for its perimeter.

The police keep wait outside Sally and her sister Annabelle’s (Jean Aubrey) flat waiting for David to appear. Courtfield Road, London SW7.

David escapes dressed as fashion photographer George who conveniently arrives at the flat, Ashburn Gardens, London SW7 As can be seen, the police are waiting on the wrong corner of the building and are not patrolling the exit.
Once again no convenient taxi.

David makes a visit to Costard’s home, soon after the police arrive. I have feeling that this location has been used before but I just can’t place it.
