If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.

We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

The film opens at a busy London road junction. The busy road junction of the Aldwych, London WC2, St Clement Danes Church below the camera to the right. (RL)

From ground level looking up Aldwych from the Gladstone Memorial with Clement House, seen in "Arthur? Arthur!" and "Keep It Up Jack" to the right. SJ

Cut to an office block, home of Venture Publications where writer Dave Nelson works on a new story before paying a visit to his girlfriend Laura Martin as she works on a new recipe. Electra House, Temple Place, London WC2, now, sadly lost to re-development advises Dave W. The building also appears in 'Vengeance Is Mine'. (RL)

Known as Globe House, 4 Temple Place, HQ of BAT. And in the far right Two Temple Place, now a public gallery, formerly Astor House. SJ

Turned down in favour of Bill Strayte for the editor's position at True Crime Magazine, Dave Nelson (Paul Carpenter) leaves for home. Dave W narrows this down to further along Temple Place although the address of the building is 28 Norfolk Street. (RL)

Norfolk Street was demolished in the 70s in favour of Arundel Great Court, which in turn fell to the demolition in the 2010s. In this wider shot, Its replacement nears completion. SJ

Having spotted Strayte get into a car with Laura outside the office, Dave decides to follow.

Mounting the pavement as he parks, Dave goes inside the apartment block where he finds Strayte sitting in Laura Martin's living room.

After a night of heavy drinking, Dave is taken to the Norfolk Hotel by Christy, a woman he met in a bar. The sign appears to be hanging above the entrance to the Paddington Grande Hotel Club on Norfolk Place in Paddington W2.

The since developed frontage now, which doesn't prove much, but it fills a space as I was passing. SJ

Waking alone, Dave steps into the sunlight outside the hotel. The entrance of the Paddington Grande Hotel Club on Norfolk Place W2 with the long demolished All Saints’ church visible to the top right.

What a random cone! SJ

Following an attack in his flat, Dave drives to Christy Freeman's address that he read on an envelope purposely left behind by the Assailant. Dave W found that a number of Kensington Borough streets had similar ironwork to that identified by Jules in 'Lady Godiva Rides Again'. A virtual tour enabled him to settle on Linden Gardens, London W2, here looking south towards number 21. (RL)

This is looking towards the postbox corner seen in "Amelia and the Angel." SJ

The camera follows as Dave gets out of his car and crosses the pavement. Barely visible, but to Dave's sharp eye and vital to our identification, there is a missing spear on the railing between 61 - 63 Linden Gardens. Fortunately the item is still absent without leave after all this time. (RL)

And there is the missing spear. SJ

Dave walks up to the front door where he finds Miss Freeman's name next to a doorbell. That missing spear tells Dave and us, that it is number 61 Linden Gardens that is about to receive a visitor. (RL)

No visitors today. SJ

After Christy's corpse is found, Dave leaves Rosemary's apartment without being seen. This seems to be the fire escape of Mortimer Court at the corner of Abbey Road and Hill Road in NW8.

Awkward to obtain the correct angle without trespass. SJ

Rosemary hails a taxi and has it drive around to the side of the building. Hill Road in St. John’s Wood with Abbey Road Baptist church in the top distance and Adelaide Court to the left.

Dropping Dave off nearby, Rosemary Speed (Hazel Court) is surprised by a Policeman as she gets out of the cab. 'Electra House' again, as seen in Capture 2 this time looking west along the frontage on Temple Place says Dave W. (RL)
