Can you help:

If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.

We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

KGB men in the doorway keep an eye on a photocall for the ballet troupe, especially the star turn Flander in the brown fur, at the Albert Hall, London SW7. The location has made appearances in many productions including ‘The Ipcress File’, ‘Interlude’, ‘The Holly and the Ivy’ and ‘Mister Ten Per Cent’.

This is on the west side and replaces a more wintry one taken in the wrong quadrant. SJ

  • 'Now' required

Hawkins leaves her bawdy club where she works... and, after eleven years of mystery, this was the Revolution Club, now rebuilt, on Bruton Place, London W1. This was also seen, and identified by SR, in 'Come Play with Me'. (SJ)

Hawkins at Albert Hall Mansions opposite the Hall: now what's she up to?

Kensington Gore, London SW7

Phillips watches Hawkins causing a distraction.

The photo shoot appears to have moved from the first still. Now on the north-west side. Taken in wet snow. SJ

Phillips has moved from the above still and is looking the wrong way. Odd continuity.

Now with good visible sign. SJ

Hawkins runs after Phillips whose trunk conceals the defector.

Kensington Gore, London SW7. SJ

Nice clue here. Joseph Yates Ltd, still at 146 Kensington Church Street opposite the junction with Edge Street, London W8.

Yes the writing on the wall's still there. SJ

Geoff Dodds says, Aldenham Road looking down Butterfly Lane in Aldenham, Hertfordshire with The Battle Axes public house visible to the left. The location also features in 'A Woman of Mystery', 'Man Accused', 'Where the Spies Are', 'A doppia faccia' and 'Wings of Mystery' as well as two episodes of the television series 'The Saint' entitled 'The Organisation Man' and 'Flight Plan'.

Between Elstree and Letchmore Heath. SJ

A familiar lane: Edgwarebury Lane off Barnet Lane, Herts. as Phillips drives in, unsuspecting that the defector is in his boot.

Now. SJ

Phillips' drive comes to the Edgwarebury Corus Hotel, which appears in many productions including ‘Man Accused’, ‘School for Scoundrels’, ‘The Devil Rides Out’ and ‘For Members Only’ as well as 1974’s ‘Stardust’ and 'Dracula'.

Reassuringly extant, though changed in name from the Edgwarebury to the Corus and now Laura Ashley The Manor. SJ

Marner and Sharvell-Martin on Edgwarebury Lane, outside the drive to the hotel, as Lavender and Dotrice pass through the gate. The gateway, as well as the hotel, can also be seen in 'For Members Only'.

Replacing the previous shot where I had the wrong angle. SJ

Lavender at the, um at a guess, Letchmore Stores, now looks on Google to be a private house on The Green, Letchmore Heath north of Elstree. The postbox is still there.

Yup, just up from the 'Village of the Damned' shots. SJ

Kinnear clears a pond, chased by Davies at the back of the Edgwarebury. McDowell would have fallen about here in A Clockwork Orange.

Now, with the aesthetically unsympathetic hotel extension lurching off to the right. SJ

Lavender and Dotrice outside the Edgwarebury Corus Lodge by the gates.

Someone's run off with the rungs. SJ

Davies grabs Estelle at the hotel's main entrance.

Odd that they covered the stained glass window at the side of the door. SJ

Off east down Edgwarebury Lane: similar view seen in Confessions of a Driving Instructor.

Now, with the side of the lodge almost obscured. SJ
