A car brings a gang of burglars to a city office block.

When the alarm starts to ring, the getaway driver panics and speeds off leaving David Hughes (Philip Locke) and Frank Stewart (Emrys Jones) without a means of escape.

With the spoils of the robbery, the two run through a construction site towards a church. Basinghall St, side of the Guildhall, London EC2

Having hidden the bearer bonds, Hughes and Stewart walk from the building site.

A police car appears. I suspect that this is Aldermanbury with the junction of Love Lane, London EC2 (RL)

With only a month of his sentence left to serve, Frank Stewart escapes from prison. Possibly a stock shot of the gates to Maidstone Prison on County Road, Maidstone. Also seen in 'Porridge'.

Stewart is driven away from the gaol by Jock McKay (William Abney).

Jock leaves Stewart to drive off and calls his boss Wally Lucas, who wants to know where the stolen bonds are hidden.

Stewart leaves the van and heads to a nearby station. Bookham station on Church Road, Little Bookham in Surrey. Identified with the assistance of James Holmes.

The train to London comes to a stand as Stewart runs over the bridge. Bookham station on the line between Effingham Junction and Leatherhead.

Jean catches the bus home as Helen carries on walking. Richard Lovejoy advises that the film cuts to her actually boarding the bus in Fulham Road as Helen approaches the corner with Dovehouse Street SW3.

Stewart watches the bus carrying his daughter before continuing after Helen. Fulham Road, with the old Brompton Hospital behind, the bus stop is still there. (RL)

Helen turns off the main road as Stewart pursues her. The main road is Fulham Road as she turns into Dovehouse Street, London SW3. The distinctive railing remain. (RL)

A new gas cylinder cupboard, a broken railing and the hospital now apartments, otherwise nothing has changed. (RL)

The escaped convict approaches the building where Helen has an apartment. Ray Glenister resolves this one for us, saying that the convict is approaching 15 St. Leonard's Terrace, Chelsea, London SW3.

Neighbour Mrs. Thomas (Bee Duffell) sees the curtains move after calling on Helen. Behind Mrs. Thomas, Ray advises, is 18 St. Leonard's Terrace.

As crooked bookmaker Lucas makes his plans, Helen returns to her flat, at 15 St. Leonard's Terrace confirms Ray, further telling us that St. Leonard's Terrace also appears in 'The Girl in the Headlines'.

No17 was also seen in Stormbreaker. SJ

Lucas' henchmen Bryce (Ken Wayne) and Vance (Brian Haines) call on Jean and discover Stewart's whereabouts.

The police watch as Wally Lucas (Kevin Stoney) leaves home. The entrance to Burton Court on Franklins Row, London SW3 identified by Peter.

Stewart escapes from Bryce and makes his way to where the bonds are hidden. Mumford Court looking towards Milk Street in EC2.
