If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.
We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

On the hill is San Gimignano near Siena in Tuscany as Tomei and Hunt drive to Rome from Venice. This could be from the via Vecchia or possibly from the road northwest of the town.

This comparison shot from the north towards the village was taken on Via Cortennano, provided by Manuel Gurtner (SJ)

Now in Rome... And found by Manuel who says, Dressed for the movie as car rental office, this is the entrance to the Palazzo Pamphilj at Piazza Navona 18. Afterwards Tomei and Hunt board a taxi. They circle the Fontana del Moro at the southern end of the square, just to leave the cab again directly opposite the Palazzo Pamphilj.

And a Google image from Manuel with the matching doorway highlighted in yellow: located between the church Sant’Agnese in Agone and the Brazilian embassy; nowadays the Centro Cultural Brasil-Italia is housed here. (SJ)

A leather goods store... but not really as Manuel has spotted another bit of trickery. The store “Pelleteria Il Monastero” is located next to the church Nostra Signora del Sacro Cuore. In 1962, it was a street café, seen in "Rome Adventure", capture 14.

And it's a café now, Romane Vacanze. SJ

Hunt and Tomei leave the cab in front of the Ristorante Galeassi, identified by Manuel, at the Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere to dine al fresco.

Taxi-free now. SJ

Another shot of the piazza.

From the Galeassi looking across the piazza towards the Piazza San Calisto. Also seen in Fellini's "Roma." SJ

A fountain and a large one. I'm going for the Piazza di Santa Maria, Trastevere.

"The Fontana di Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere is believed to be the oldest fountain in Rome, dating back to the 8th century, but the present look is the work of Bramante and Bernini. On the right side the Palazzo di San Callisto, one of the extraterritorial properties of the Holy See, can be seen." Info from Manuel and this replaces his google shot from Dec 2018. SJ

Hunt and Tomei meet Downey Jr. at a news-stand on the corner of Via della Lungaretta in the Trastevere region, found by Manuel.

The news-stand now stands away from the wall in a different design, and the corner stone blocks, apart from the base, have been replaced. And graffiti has hit the Via della Lungaretta. SJ

This is Tiber island, the south-east corner of the piazza di San Bartolomeo all'isola.

From the angle, this must be on the Esquiline Hill with views to the Capitoline and the Vittorio Emanuele II monument... in fact Manuel can be more precise citing the Roof Garden Restaurant of Hotel Forum, also seen in "If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium."
An approximation. SJ

Hunt and de Almeida at the Fountain of Neptune on the north end of Piazza Navona.
Right fountain, wrong angle. I should be more to the right. SJ

Downey running past the girls' hotel.

One of those happy Reelstreets moments where I just happened to stroll by and recognised it, as happened 7 years earlier for the next capture. Piazza Margana, just west of the Vittorio Emanuele II monument. SJ

One of the many nasoni which distribute free drinking water in Rome. A challenge for a while.
I got lucky and spotted this on the south end of via del Mascherone as it meets via Giulia. SJ. Addendum: also seen in TV's Trust when Getty is kidnapped and glimpsed in The Old Guard 2.
