Outside his house, The Commander greets Gene before taking him inside to impart some final advice on how to complete his deadly task. David Hizzey spotted that the cottage stands on Woodcock Lane at the junction with Sparrow Hill and Steep Hill in Chobham, Surrey and also appears in 'Reunion at Fairborough' as well as 'The Jigsaw Man'.
David found the building hiding behind a tree.

With training completed and now going by the name of Jean Doumier, Gene sets off on his assignment.

Jean is dropped into France and makes his way to Paris. Steve Randall identifies this as the view of la Seine and Passy seen from the Eiffel Tower, looking downstream.

Leaving a Metro station, Jean begins his search for Marcel Lafitte, a Free French radio operator who is suspected to be double agent. Found by Steve Randall, this is outside Censier-Daubenton Metro station at the corner of Rue Monge and Rue Daubenton in the 5th arrondissement of Paris with Paroisse Catholique Saint Médard church in the background.

After meeting with his contact Léonie, Jean makes his way to Lafitte's office on Avenue du Maine in the 14th arrondissement.

Finding Lafitte in a cafe near the office, Jean follows him home to Impasse de la Gaîté in Montparnasse . . . and yes, this is the location, off Rue de la Gaité in the 14th arrondissement.
