Storyline:
This film breaks all our old rules, it is short, only four minutes, modern, doesn’t have any recognised actors in shot; just a bunch of youngsters rushing through the streets; it is computer animation at its best, and in the fine traditions of H G Wells: who set the plot in England: and a young Orson Welles: who moved the action to North America: a modern metropolis is attacked by creatures from another planet. Four minutes long, excellent animation, first class sound and really worth viewing………and so many locations!
Additional Information:
This short earned Alvarez a contract to work on a $30 million dollar major Hollywood film.

This will need some finding, but look carefully and the rounded windows appear in the distance. Long shadows, probably evening, as Uruguyans really don’t like getting up too early, so we’re looking towards the south of west.

Tres Cruces, at the crossing of Bvd. Artigas and Gral. Rivera, the monument to Pope John’s visit, as also is the beautiful and sad film The Pope’s Bathroom, or maybe Father's Bathroom, made in Melo in the north of Uruguay.

An imposing 1880’s public building, yet to be discovered. And probably falling down in sympathy with the other destruction, like the third skyscraper which "fell down" of its own accord when the Twin Towers were detroyed on 9/11.
