If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.

We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

Martin Underwood provides this additional screen capture of Dominic dropping Fina off outside her house. 1 West Eaton Place, Belgravia, London SW1. Martin remarks that as the location is about 200 yards from his house it might have been quicker for them to walk! (RL)

Dominic catches the train from 'Belgravia' station. This is the Aldwych branch platform at Holborn which can also be seen in 'The Black Windmill', 'Turn the Key Softly', 'Monsieur Ripois', 'The Gentle Gunman' and 'Conspirator'.

Given away by the train having only four cars and the straightness of the platform. With thanks to Les Williams and the staff at Holborn station for arranging access. (PW)

Christine Pready (Mai Zetterling) waits for Dominic to return from the robbery. David Paul Thomas advises that the car is a Wolseley 1500 and Richard Lovejoy locates it as standing opposite the Brompton Road / Hans Crescent entrance / exit of Knightsbridge Underground Station with a corner of Harrods store to the left.

Comparison image by Richard Lovejoy.

Dominic emerges from the station with the proceeds of the robbery. With a branch of Cecil Gee, gent's outfitter on the right, Richard Lovejoy adds "This shot shows MAC FISHERIES at 58a Brompton Road. The station entrance / exit was on the corner of Brompton Road / Hans Crescent opposite Harrods."

Richard's modern shot shows that Hans Crescent has now been pedestrianised and the station access is in the centre of the road but has the building at the rear been rebuilt in an old style? Brick columns and sash windows?

Christine and Dominic speed away. Richard Lovejoy says "As Christine and Dominic speed away they pass Courtney Reed, Pleaters and Haberdashers at 48 Hans Crescent."

The distinctive roof line at the end of the road confirms in Richards comparison.

The getaway car speeds away along a reverse view of Hans Crescent. (RL)

Now a pedestrian precinct with Harrods on the left. Located captured by Richard Lovejoy.

A lorry approaches on a side road. Looking back down Basil Street, Harrods on the right and St Saviours Church, Walton Place and its spires visible at the end. Identified by Richard Lovejoy.
