The start of a tilt shot showing Dr. Worley's clinic. 15 West Heath Road in Hampstead NW3. Lee Allum from the British Film Location Spotters Club asked the director and was told that there were two almost identical houses opposite Hampstead Heath. They used number 15 as the Asylum and some material was filmed in the Heath over the road too. Unfortunately not long after the film the house was demolished and a newer modern house was built in its place. The house next door remains mostly as it was when they were filming, so you can see the gothic asylum’s sister house, only in reverse. (SR)
