The first three shots are of the Pet Shop, supposedly the same place but this first one may be a set.

A view outside the shop but definitely not the same as 002 and actually looks like it could be Oban where a few other scenes were shot ... Mystery solved! It is in Stevenson Street Oban. Across the road is George Street, the business is T.W Buchanan, now a cafe/fish n chip shop, thanks to both Shirley from Oban and Gordon Kerr (who sent a Google proving shot, 13/1/15) for supplying the info.

Once inside the station we are actually at Marylebone . . . which is seen over and over again in films such as 'Violent Moment', 'The Day of the Triffids', 'The Internecine Project', 'Don't Open till Christmas', 'A Hard Day’s Night', 'We Joined the Navy', 'Up Jumped a Swagman', 'Billy Liar', 'Life at the Top' and 'One of Our Dinosaurs Is Missing'.

At the little bothy at the mouth of Loch Feochan on the Minard peninsula. Here also the venue for the landing of a German spy from a submarine in the code breaking film 'Enigma', advises Richard Pierce.

More precisely, the cottage is south-west of Lerags and on the north coast west of the mouth of the loch. This original shot, albeit off-angle, was taken by DW to replace the internet image. (SJ)

On his travels, Chris Mcgugan reached the harbour.

It took Chris 45 years to visit Ellenabeich, a beautiful part of the UK.
