Can you help:
If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.
We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

Mount's house... After 10 years it's been identified as 41 King Edward's Grove, Teddington, TW11 9LX. George David's mother remembered this being filmed across the road where they once lived. With thanks to George and his streetview evidence. (SJ)

After a mis-angle (we've all been there), John Harwood returned to the site for a better shot. (SJ)

Lewis and Eaton in a wintry park... Ron Simpson was working in Epsom Surrey on Wednesday 15th February 1956 and had cause to visit Rosebery Park just off the town centre and noticed the full filming paraphernalia of trucks, lighting, chairs and so forth. He believes the pond is still there, and a quick google confirms so. (SJ) PS Ron, my return mail thanking you bounced back as undeliverable so I hope you read this.

These next three all supplied by John H. who notes that the trees are pretty much the same. (SJ)

Jackson and Webster in probably the same park, ie Rosebery Park, Epsom, Surrey.

And once more John H. with our thanks. (SJ)

A railway crossing. Dave W 'tracked' this down to 5 Linden Grove, Teddington, now a dead end for cars but a footbridge is provided for feet. The signal box, which Jonathan Horswell clarifies was known as Somerset Road, has gone but number 5 plus the residential properties across the railway line in Somerset Road are still present. (RL) .

A nice match on the left, taken by John Wilkinson. (SJ)

The house again... as capture 1.

Another by John H. who observes the hedge is getting away somewhat. (SJ)

And the street where it lives... King Edward's Grove

John H. admits great difficulty with this one, wrestling with the parked cars but going for the contour of the road but this may remain somewhat up for debate. (SJ)

A church, St. Stephen's, London W13. Thanks to info provided by Mark O at Britmovie.co.uk.
A lot of trees have grown in the interim and this is the best angle. SJ

And at last that vital clue. The sign says West Ealing.
At the south end which appears disused now. Overlooking The Avenue. SJ
