Geoff Buck tells us that this is the cricket pitch at Dartmouth's Britannia Royal Naval College at the "top of the hill" and John Darby confirms the location that can also be spotted in 'We Joined the Navy'.

Number Five (Stephen Black) explains to the 'Chief' why he wasn't at the meeting the other night as the others look on. The Britannia Royal Naval College on College Way in Dartmouth identified by Geoff Buck. John Darby adds that the young lads in the background were from Dartmouth and Churston secondary schools and that he was one of them as well as being the stand in for the lead boy.
