As Mr. Mortimer drives away from the British Atomic Motors facility, Baroness Helga Hagen (Daliah Lavi) and Pandora (Beba Loncar) prepare to pursue and kill him. Likely to be somewhere in the studios but Clive Turner believes this to be the National Gas Turbine Establishment buildings near Farnborough in Hampshire.

Baroness Helga Hagen introduces a disguised Carl Petersen (James Villiers). Heatherden Hall has been used as a location in a number of productions including 'From Russia With Love', 'Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines', 'An Alligator Named Daisy', 'Innocent Bystanders', 'The First Great Train Robbery', 'Carry On Nurse' and 'Nothing But The Night'.

On a glider flight, Drummond survives an airborne attempt on his life by Helga. This is Booker Airfield near High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire identified by David Payne.

Drummond arrives in North Africa. Manuel Gurtner explains that the camera zooms towards the medina of the port city of Tangier with the, then, Tanger-Ville railway station in the middle background. It was abandoned when the new railway terminus was inaugurated further east in 2003, but the former station building still exists today.

British agent Peregrine Carruthers arrives at Drummond's hotel. Manuel advises that, in fact, we are back in Spain in the municipality Begur, Catalonia. This is the planted square in front of the entrance to the famed Hotel Cap Sa Sal, inaugurated in 1963 and located onto a cliff above the Costa Brava.
