Dr Ritter and Dr. John 'Jack' Wilson approach the gates of Holloway Prison, where they perform surgery on disfigured criminals in an effort to prevent reoffending. Looking towards the junction of Parkhurst Road with Camden Road and Hillmarton Road in N7 from the prison driveway.

After Alice calls off the relationship and begins her European tour, Dr. Ritter performs surgery on Lily. A stock or second unit shot of the Palais Garnier opera house on Place de l'Opéra in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. Outside Bentalls department store on Wood Street in Kingston upon Thames with the chimneys of Kingston power station in the left background. The train calls at Surbiton where Dr. Ritter tries to get Lily to leave the train. The shot is taken from Platform 2 at Surbiton railway station. Not so obvious to most of us but like stofa018 this is also reversed says Bob Hoskins who couldn't understand why the loco looked to be on the London bound line when it is shown heading away from London. Bob also couldn't understand why the background block of flats looked to be in the wrong place but having resolved the problem he took this picture to set both his and our minds at rest. (RL)
